PINLEAF ESTATE AND PROPERTIES LIMITED LAUNCHES PHILIPPINE ESTATE IN UGWUOBA, ENUGU STATE, WITH STAR-STUDDED CEREMONY

Dignitaries, Clerics, and Cultural Icons Gather as Landmark Real Estate Venture Takes Off; New "Land Banking" Scheme Promises Affordable Land Ownership for All Igbo Sons and Daughters

UGWUOBA, ENUGU STATE — In a colourful and spiritually charged ceremony that drew some of the most illustrious personalities across Igboland and beyond, PINLEAF Estate and Properties Limited has officially launched and broken ground on its newest development — the PINELEAF PHILIPPINE ESTATE, situated in Ugwuoba, Enugu State.

The landmark event, hosted by the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PINLEAF Estate and Properties Limited, Archbishop Dr. Onyeka Joseph Nzekwesi — widely known by his Igbo title Chinakariibeya (Jidemma Na Eziowelle) — was co-hosted by Engr. Dr. Bob Nzekwesi (Chinasuluzo Na Eziowelle), Director of PINLEAF Estate and Properties Limited. Archbishop Nzekwesi also serves as Chairman of the National Advisory Council of the United Igbo Elders Congress (UNIEC).

A GATHERING OF EMINENCE

The ceremony attracted a distinguished assembly of religious leaders, traditional rulers, entertainers, diplomats, and real estate stakeholders. Among those present were:

· Engr. Arthur Eze (Ozoigbondu)

· Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma (Ebube Muonso), Spiritual Director, Holy Ghost Adoration Ministries, Ukeh — who also serves as the Spiritual Voice of PINLEAF Estate

· Bishop Moses Ezedebego, Chairman, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Anambra State

· Chief Chiwetalu Agu

. Chief Ochudo of Ogwashi-Uku, Former Chairman, Acting Guild of Nigeria, South East Zone

· Hon. Rita Daniel and her daughter, Regina Daniels

· Amb. Dr. Chinyere Udoma (Odudu Woman)

· Chief Uwa Ezuoke, Abino Brothers, Egbe Igwe, Uncle IB, and Ichoku

All PINLEAF Estate Progressives and Realtors from across the country were equally represented.

DIVINE CONSECRATION OF THE LAND

In keeping with the spiritual significance the founders attach to the project, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma (Ebube Muonso) led a prayer session in which he consecrated the land and dedicated the entire estate to God Almighty — a moment observers described as deeply moving and symbolic of the values underpinning the venture.

INVESTMENT PACKAGES: MAKING LAND OWNERSHIP ACCESSIBLE

Addressing guests at the ceremony, Archbishop Dr. Nzekwesi provided details of the estate's pricing and investment frameworks, designed to make land ownership both accessible and financially rewarding.

· Standard Purchase: A plot of land within the Philippine Estate is priced at ₦3,000,000 (Three Million Naira).

· Land Banking Package: Under the innovative Land Banking scheme, prospective buyers may secure a plot with an initial deposit of ₦600,000, followed by monthly instalment payments of ₦240,000 spread across ten months to offset the balance — making land ownership attainable for a wider demographic.

· Buy-Back Investment Option: In a particularly attractive offering for investors, buyers who make a full payment of ₦3,000,000 for a plot of land are guaranteed the right to resell the same land back to PINLEAF at ₦5,000,000 after ten months — representing a guaranteed return of ₦2,000,000, or approximately 67% profit, within less than one year.

The estate is strategically accessible through two major gateways:

· Phase 1: Enugu/Ugwuoba Old Road

· Phase 2: Ugwuoba/Oji River Expressway

Archbishop Nzekwesi described the Land Banking initiative as "the greatest investment plan put in place to make every Igbo son and daughter a land owner," assuring investors that their funds are fully guaranteed under the scheme.

NEW BRAND AMBASSADORS UNVEILED

In a highlight of the ceremony, several distinguished personalities were formally unveiled as Brand Ambassadors of PINLEAF Estate and Properties Limited. They include:

· Chief Chiwetalu Agu

. Chief Ochudo of Ogwashi-Uku

· Hon. Rita Daniel and Regina Daniels

· Amb. Dr. Chinyere Udoma (Odudu Woman)

· The Abino Brothers

The newly appointed ambassadors were charged with promoting the PINLEAF brand to a global audience, in line with the company's expansionist vision.

UNIEC COMMENDS VISIONARY LEADERSHIP

In remarks delivered on behalf of the United Igbo Elders Congress (UNIEC), its Director of Media and Publicity, Apostle Prince Iyke Obasi, praised Archbishop Nzekwesi for his unwavering commitment to extending UNIEC's Akulue Uno philosophy beyond Nigerian borders — citing the Chairman's outreach efforts in Dubai, South Africa, and most recently, the Philippines — the inspiration behind the estate's name.

"This is precisely in line with the mandate of UNIEC," Apostle Obasi stated, urging Archbishop Nzekwesi to continue championing "Operation Invest in Igboland" until every Igbo son and daughter, both at home and in the diaspora, fully imbibes the culture of Akulue Uno — a philosophy which is the heartbeat of UNIEC and centred on building and investing in one's homeland.

“Alaba Rago Has Fallen: Igbo, Think Home Before It Is Too Late!”

BEING A SPEECH DELIVERED BY H. E. PASTOR MICHAEL OBIERIKA AT A UNIEC SUMMIT Distinguished Elders, Respected Leaders, my brothers and sisters in the struggle for the survival and prosperity of Ndigbo—I speak to you this morning as a Concerned Elder Statesman.  Just a few days ago, the Lagos State Government sent in its bulldozers. And in the twinkling of an eye, Alaba Rago —was demolished, reduced to dust and silence. In case you do not know, Alaba Rago is that sprawling Hausa cattle market that had fed countless families, powered trade, and stood as a testimony to Northern enterprise in Lagos.  That, my people, is not just the fall of a market. It is a warning from history . A message written in bold letters, not only to the Hausa who owned that market, but especially to us, the Igbo—because we, more than any other people, have invested the sweat of our brow and the blood of our youth into Lagos. But let me ask us here today: if Alaba Rago could fall, what t...

UNIEC Condemns Barbaric and Brutal Attack By Terrorists On Worshippers At Christ Apostolic Church

Statement from the United Igbo Elders Congress Worldwide e United Igbo Elders Congress Worldwide condemns—unequivocally and in the strongest terms—the barbaric and brutal attack carried out by armed gunmen on worshippers at Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Eruku, Kwara State, on the night of November 18, 2025. This horrific incident, in which innocent Christians gathered in a vigil were savagely attacked, is an affront to every principle of humanity, decency, and civilized society. Reports indicate that the attackers opened fire on worshippers, killing at least three congregants and abducting several others, including the pastor. This tragedy shakes the conscience, not only because of the loss of innocent lives, but also because of the chilling nature of the attack. How can it be said that murderers took their time slaughtering old men and women in cold blood—unchallenged? How can such unspeakable evil unfold in a supposedly civilized society without the immediate intervention of s...

Okolie Raises Alarm Over Collapsing Federal Roads in Delta State Calls on Presidency, FERMA, and Ministry of Works to Act Urgently By Our Reporter Asaba, Delta State – A Patron of the United Igbo Elders Congress Worldwide, (UNIEC) and member representing Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ngozi Okolie, has raised fresh concerns over the worsening state of major federal roads in Delta State, describing them as “lifelines now failing at great human and economic cost.” Speaking in a statement yesterday, Okolie highlighted three critical corridors — the Asaba-Illah-Ebu-Ubiaja Road, the Asaba-Onitsha Expressway, and the Okpanam-Asaba Highway — all of which he said have deteriorated into death traps despite repeated parliamentary interventions. “These roads are not just infrastructure; they are lifelines that connect people, communities, and economies,” Okolie declared. “Yet today, they stand as stark reminders that government promises must be matched...
