Pastor Michael Obierika,  Secretary, Board of Trustees.  In a decisive move aimed at maintaining stability and ensuring effective governance within the Igbo community, the Board of Trustees - the highest decision making body of United Igbo Elders Council Worldwide (UNIEC) - is set to appoint a pre-tempore national executive. This decision comes in light of inadequate arrangements and logistical challenges faced ahead of the proposed elections slated for later this month. At a press conference held at the Council’s headquarters, the Director General, His Lordship, Justice Alpha Ikpeama expressed concern over the lack of proper planning and coordination that has plagued the election preparations.
